About BDT Billy's Driver Training

BDT is a one-man business with one training vehicle so you'll get the same instructor and vehicle every lesson, which means you won't need to adapt to someone else's methods, personality or vehicle which can be a common occurrence if you train with a larger school with multiple instructors.  My vehicle is equipped with Dual Controls (clutch and brake) because your safety is my number one priority.  These controls are also used in some demonstrations.

I cover most of Ayrshire and have been trading since Jan 2006 so I am one of the newer 'kids' on the block.  Where you might think that I'd lack experience, let me overturn your thinking by promoting the fact that recent qualification means I couldn't be more up-to-date with current practices and standards expected by the Driving Standards Agency.  In addition to this, let me state that you would only need to be in this business for as little as 6 months to encounter many different types of learner so experience is something that you very quickly gain anyway.

This is a company that has yet to spend anything on advertising as the majority of my clients have came to me via recommendations from others.  This allows me to keep the highly competitive cost to you as low as possible.  Some of these clients have also had previous instructors as well, so if you are currently training with someone and not happy with how it's progressing, let your instructor know and discuss your concerns with them.  If you have already tried that and your issues haven't been resolved then don’t feel obligated to stay with them.
